Eliud Ernandes
Guadalajara, Mexico
A bassist and multidisciplinary musician from Mexico — building an international community of artists through low-end, live looping and the language that ties cultures together.
Who
A life in the low end
Eliud Ernandes began his artistic training at the age of four years old — and has been building bridges through music ever since.
A high-level bass player and complete musician, his work spans recording and live performance with artists from across the globe. He has collaborated either recording or performing with musicians from Mexico, Argentina, France, Spain, the Netherlands and the United States.
His mission runs deeper than any single instrument: linking the music and culture of different nations, and generating an international community of artists that collaborate, dialogue and develop new ways of making music.

Founder & Director
Mexico Y2K International Live Looping Festival
Alongside Lizeth Ruvalcaba, Eliud is founding director of the Mexico Y2K International Live Looping Festival — a gathering with one core objective: to link the music and culture of various nations.
The festival generates an international community of artists who collaborate, dialogue and develop entirely new ways of making music — and in 2025 he returns to the stage as a y2k25 Loopfest headliner.
For the stage
Music director
Arranger and musical director of the Mexican productions of off-Broadway musicals.
He is part of the project Broadway Without Borders, with which he is fully identified — because it does not only open jobs for Mexican artists abroad, but more importantly tears down the walls that divide us ideologically.
