- 2026-05-05 — Voice chromatic mode — a new "Voice" instrument with per-voice-type chromatic ranges (Bass, Baritone, Tenor, Contralto, Alto, Mezzo-soprano, Soprano) for vocal-range practice.
- 2026-05-05 — Half-step transpose — −½ / +½ buttons raise or lower the entire tuning chromatically without changing tuning preset.
- 2026-05-05 — String-tension warning — when raising more than one half-step above standard, an amber warning appears; raises are capped at +6 to help avoid breaking thin strings.
- 2026-05-05 — Per-string warning — a small "!" badge marks any string whose target sits above its standard pitch (suppressed in voice mode where it doesn't apply).

About
A mobile-first chromatic tuner for string instruments and voice. Pick your instrument and tuning, allow microphone access, and the app shows the detected note, frequency, and a ±50¢ deviation indicator. The nearest target string highlights automatically, or you can lock onto a single string with a tap.

- Voice mode — chromatic per-semitone targets across the working range of every voice type, so singers can practise specific pitches.
- Auto-nearest string — the tuner picks the closest target from your tuning automatically. Tap any string chip to lock onto it.
- ±50¢ indicator — colour-coded mint / amber / red, with "TOO LOW" / "TOO HIGH" chips that emerge from inside the slot when pitch is far off.
- Half-step transpose — raise or lower the whole tuning by semitones, with a built-in safety cap and a clear warning when going above standard.
- No noise gate / AGC — microphone is captured raw so detection stays accurate on quiet plucks.
- Persistent picker — instrument + tuning selections survive reload via localStorage; offline catalog fallback for spotty connections.
